Product Overview
Titan Metals specializes in the distribution of stainless steel alloys in a variety of sizes, which can be found below with brief descriptions about the characteristics of each alloy. Our stainless steels all differ in chemical composition to meet the specific needs of our clients. If your project requires an alloy that has not been listed, please contact us at info@titanmetals.com and we’d be happy to assist you.

303
This steel is corrosion-resistant to atmospheric exposures, as well as most organic and many inorganic chemicals.
304
By far the most widely used stainless and heat-resisting steel; very good formability and can be readily welded. It is also characterized by its corrosion resistance to many chemical and industrial atmospheres.
304L
This steel is a low-carbon variation of T-304, which avoids harmful carbide precipitation due to welding. It is characterized by the same corrosion resistance but has lower mechanical properties than T-304.
316
This alloy offers better corrosion and pitting resistance as well as higher strength at elevated temperatures than T-304. It is commonly used for applications in pumps, valves, textile and chemical equipment, as well as for pulp/paper and marine applications.
316L
This steel is a low-carbon variation of T-316, which avoids harmful carbide precipitation due to welding, though it has the same superior corrosion resistance of T-316.
